Why KECKEX caught our attention
We first went to Austria to look at KECKEX as a chemical-free weed control option. Once we saw the system working, the wider potential was clear.
KECKEX is a modular outdoor maintenance system that can be configured for cleaning, thermal weed treatment, chewing gum removal, watering and other specialist jobs. Different machines, modules and attachments mean the setup can be built around the work you actually need to do.
Groundserv will provide UK demonstrations, sales and ongoing support, with the first demonstration machines now on order.

How the KECKEX treatment works
KECKEX uses a controlled mixture of hot water and steam to treat the plant above the surface and around the root area below.

Repeated treatment weakens regrowth
Each treatment further weakens the plant and root area, reducing its ability to recover and regrow.

CLEANING APPLICATIONS
Effective cleaning without chemical cleaners
With the right treatment head, KECKEX can move from targeted detail work to larger-area cleaning. Hot water and steam can be used across paving, street furniture, signs and other outdoor surfaces without relying on chemical cleaning agents.
THE JESPI
The self-propelled KECKEX platform
The JESPI is the larger self-propelled KECKEX machine we’ve ordered for our UK demonstrations. Compact enough for paths and tighter spaces, but built around the full professional KECKEX system, it provides a flexible platform for cleaning, thermal weed treatment, gum removal and more.
Our JESPI and MOBI demonstration machines will both be available for customers to see and try when UK demonstrations begin in October.

The MOBI is a compact KECKEX unit covering thermal weed treatment, high- and low-pressure cleaning and chewing gum removal. We’ll have both the JESPI and MOBI available at our planned October demonstrations, giving customers the chance to see the different systems and try them in person.
