The John Deere Z994R is a premium, heavy-duty commercial zero-turn ride-on mower. It combines the rapid maneuverability of zero-turn dual-lever steering with the long-term reliability and fuel economy of a liquid-cooled diesel engine.
Yanmar 3-Cylinder Diesel Engine: Powered by a liquid-cooled 24.7 HP Yanmar engine (Stage V compliant). It provides massive torque to maintain blade speeds through tall, thick grass while operating on highly efficient fuel consumption.
7-Iron™ PRO Commercial Deck: This machine has a 54"cutting width in side-discharge configuration and a mulch kit. The deck is stamped from a single sheet of heavy-duty 7-gauge steel, eliminating welds and seams to maximize airflow and prevent clogging.
High Ground Speed: Features a heavy-duty dual hydrostatic wheel-drive transmission. It achieves forward speeds up to 17 km/h (10.5 mph), allowing operators to cut large spaces up to 20% faster than a front-mount machine.
