Features a 40% higher chain speed and 15% increase in motor performance over its predecessor, the MSA 160 T.
A low profile, ¼ P chain reduces chain chatter gives a smooth and precise finish. Fitted with a trigger side-lock button for added safety, a large throttle interlock lever and carrying ring for attaching the saw for aerial use. Thanks to battery power, it is quiet in operation meaning ear defenders are not required while working and work can begin early in noise sensitive areas.
Like most AP System tools, the MSA 161 T is IPX4 rated meaning it can be used in all types of weather conditions.
