Battery Cooling
Maintaining an optimal operating temperature is crucial for the most efficient operation of batteries. For this reason, air is directed through the housing to cool STIHL batteries. In addition, the cells in the battery are thermally connected in such a way that heat can be dissipated efficiently. This allows heat to be dissipated quickly and effectively, and excessive temperature differences can be avoided.

AS2 batteries feature intelligent battery management system - this clever technology gives a constant level of power whether the battery is 100% charged or 1% charged.
AS 2 battery charger times:
- 80 minutes using the AL1 charger
- 50 minutes using the AL5 charger or AL5-2 charger
- Please note that the AS2 battery is not compatible with the HSA 25 shrub shears
