Description
Maintaining larger lawns often calls for greater flexibility, particularly when grass conditions change throughout the season. The Masport 500 AL combines a lightweight aluminium deck with Masport's Smartchute® grass management system, allowing you to switch quickly between collection, rear discharge and mulching without interrupting the job.
Powered by a Briggs & Stratton 675 EXi OHV 163cc ReadyStart engine, the 500 AL delivers dependable performance while eliminating the need for priming or choking before starting. The rustproof aluminium deck keeps overall weight down while providing long-term durability for regular use.
Masport's Quickcut® swing-back blade system generates strong airflow for efficient grass collection while also helping protect the engine crankshaft should the blades strike a solid object. A built-in wash port allows the underside of the deck to be cleaned quickly using a garden hose, helping maintain cutting performance and reducing grass build-up after mowing.
The mower is fitted with Masport's low vibration handlebar to reduce operator fatigue during longer mowing sessions, while adjustable dual ball bearing wheels and a single lever height adjustment provide smooth operation across a range of mowing conditions. Folding handlebars with cam locks complete a practical specification that's easy to transport and store.
