Description
Removing heavy thatch and compacted organic material places greater demands on both the machine and the operator. The Billy Goat PR551V has been developed for intensive commercial scarifying, combining a heavy-duty chassis with a rotating flail reel that helps pull the machine forward, reducing operator effort during demanding turf renovation work.
The PR551V delivers dependable performance across larger commercial sites, sports facilities, parks and landscaped areas. The reinforced 3.6mm steel engine base and heavy-gauge steel deck provide the durability needed for regular contractor use, while cast iron pillow block bearings with grease fittings are designed for long service life.
The clockwise-rotating flail reel creates a self-propelled effect, helping the machine maintain forward progress while removing dense moss and thatch. Heat-treated and tempered flail blades are built to withstand repeated commercial use, and the heavy-duty depth adjustment system allows accurate working depth control while helping reduce unnecessary blade wear.
Foldable padded handlebars make transport and storage straightforward, while the PR551V can also be converted to an overseeder or vertislicer using optional kits, allowing one machine to carry out a wider range of turf renovation work.
