This multi-purpose two-wheel tractor from BCS boasts a rock-solid all-gear drive, and will prove an invaluable bit of kit for any horticulturalist looking to maximise the productivity of their land.
Adaptability, ease of use, powerful performance and rugged build-quality characterise the market-leading BCS 710 Two-Wheel Tractor.
Delivering that power – a hefty, 8.4hp – is a Honda GX270 petrol engine; a professional-grade, 270cc, air-cooled four-stroke motor with a digital CDI that works to keep fuel consumption to a minimum, while cutting the emission of harmful exhaust particulates.
An automatic decompression valve greatly reduces the pulling power required to achieve ignition; and a 5.3 litre fuel tank ensures top-up stops will be few and far between.
The BCS 710 Two-Wheel Tractor employs a premium, all-gear drive – there are no belts or chains to snap or stretch, so you can be sure of exceptional dependability, and will get season after season of unwavering performance from your purchase.
The single-speed transmission (1 forward and 1 reverse) and PTO on the BCS 710 Two-Wheel Tractor are activated by BCS’s hydraulic, patented PowerSafe® clutch that’s oil-bathed for durability, and which stops both the wheel drive and the action of the attached implement in an instant when you let go of the handlebar-mounted operator control lever.
Running on large, deep-tread pneumatic tyres, the BCS 710 has no trouble dealing with sticky, clay-heavy soils, and will haul itself over tricky terrain and across muddy ground without problem.
180° reversible handlebars can be configured to suit the type of attachment you’re working with (forward for mowing; backwards for cultivating); BCS’s employment of only top-quality components in the design of the PTO connector contribute further to robustness.
Additionally, the BCS 710 features a parking brake for safety so if you come to a halt on a hill, or need to transport the unit in the back of a van, you can ensure it won’t move!
