The Shibura Ride On Slope Mower SG280 is designed for mowing on slopes to enable you to finish your jobs faster, easier and with more safety.
A high-efficiency Shibaura N843 engine complies with exhaust emission regulations.
Horizontal Tilting Seat: The standout safety feature of this machine is a seat that dynamically adjusts to counter slopes up to 30 degrees. It keeps the operator sitting completely upright while the chassis is tilted, drastically reducing operator fatigue and increasing safety.
Selectable 4WD Hydrostatic Drive: The machine operates via a smooth hydrostatic transmission with a selectable lever to switch between 2WD (for flat terrain and fast transport up to 18 km/h) and 4WD (for maximum climbing traction when mowing).
Low Centre of Gravity & 50-50 Weight Distribution: It features a wider wheelbase and an engineered 50-50 weight split between the front and rear axles. This design profile keeps the mower completely stable on steep banks where standard ride-on mowers would risk rolling over.
High-Output Diesel Power: It is powered by a large 1,496 cc Shibaura N843 3-cylinder diesel engine producing 28 HP. This engine delivers high torque to ensure the blades do not slow down even when traveling uphill through thick, overgrown brush.
Reinforced Rotary Deck: It typically operates a heavy-duty, 60-inch (152 cm) rear-discharge or side-discharge rotary deck equipped with anti-scalping rollers to handle rough, uneven hilled terrain.
