Protected Cold Start Function
Our cold start feature protects the cells by warming them up in a controlled way before delivering full power and allows them to work down to -20 degrees. This AP battery has an improved cold start feature and can deliver full power within as little as 2 minutes at -20° Celsius.
Splashwater Protection IPX4 Certified
The IPX protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages. IPX4 certifies protection against splashwater from all sides. Battery-powered tools with this certification are therefore designed for daily use, even in rainy conditions.

36V, 7.2Ah Lithium-Ion battery. The AP 300 S is a high capacity battery that powers tools within the STIHL AP System.
With an energy capacity of 281 Wh, this battery offers an impressive 25% increase in capacity compared to the AP 300, meaning this battery will consistently power AP System tools for longer. The battery has an integrated LED charge indicator, clearly displaying as and when the battery needs charging.
Plus, the AP 300 S battery comes equipped with the latest version of STIHL Connected, allowing users to keep track of data such as total discharge time and the total number of charge cycles. This data is then made available in the STIHL Connected App, a fleet management tool capable of giving an insightful overview of all tools in your fleet.
Durable and suitable for all weather conditions, the new AP 300 S delivers the same long working times as the previous version and is the powerhouse behind the vast majority of AP System tools.
AP System batteries feature intelligent battery management system - this clever technology gives a constant level of power whether the battery is 100% charged or 1% charged.
Compatible with the AL101, AL301, AL301-4 and AL501 charger units.
