Power Boost For Maximum Performance Increase
Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.
Constant Power Regardless Of Battery Status
With some brands of battery tools, the performance usually decreases during work as the battery discharges. This is not the case with STIHL cordless power tools with CONSTANT POWER. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your STIHL power tool works with consistently high power.
Cold Start Function
Our cold start feature protects the cells by warming them up in a controlled way before delivering full power and allows them to work down to -20 degrees. This AP battery has an improved cold start feature and can deliver full power within as little as 2 minutes at -20° Celsius.
Water Connection
For work with your power tool, this provides a permanent water supply to the cutting wheel. It is used to bind dust and cool the cut. The dosable water connection directly on the machine makes cutting with water easy and convenient.
Magnesium Guard
The guard with integrated water channel and stainless steel reinforcement protects the operator from cutting debris and diverts waste material in a targeted manner, while at the same time providing a very good view of the blade. The cast magnesium guard makes the tool very lightweight and robust.
Semi Automatic Drive Belt Tensioning
Semi-automatic STIHL belt tensioning makes it easier for you to re-tension the drive belt. Consistent tension extends the service life of the belt and bearing. For more detailed information on re-tensioning, please refer to the operating instructions of your power tool.
Ergonomic Handle
The ergonomic handle not only ensures you have a firm grip on the power tool, it also enables you to make precise cuts and guide them along marked lines. The quiet running and low vibration of the machine allows you to make precise cuts comfortably.
Fast Stop Brake
When you release the control lever on your cut-off machine, the cut-off wheel will brake automatically within a few seconds. In addition, the energy gained is fed back into the battery (recuperation), improving its operating time.
Control Panel
The control panel with large on/off button is easy to operate and has good visibility from above. The 2 LEDs make it easy to read the status of the machine.
Stihl Magnetic Filter
Magnets in the cooling air flow intercept ferromagnetic particles from the air so that they do not reach the motor. This protects the motor and enables a long service life with consistently high performance. The filter can be easily removed, cleaned and reinstalled after work if required.
Low Maintenance Efficient EC Motor
Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC engine enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.
Splashwater Protection IPX4 Certified
The IPX protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages. Connectivity (Ready)
You can mount a Smart Connector 2 A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone, tablet or the STIHL connected Box that is within range. You can use the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal to view the STIHL connected gathered data and benefit from additional functions.

It’s exceptionally easy to handle thanks to its compact and well-balanced design and is designed for professionals working in construction, hardscaping and pipework – making it suited to processing materials such as bricks, paving stones, natural stone, concrete, reinforced concrete and rebar.
The TSA 300 has cutting performance that is comparable to the TS 410 petrol cut-off machine because of the narrow cutting kerf. This is achieved thanks to the lack of engine vibrations. It increases precision when making cuts, meaning you can achieve accurate results at all times and allows for a maximum cutting depth of 4.3" (110mm).
It is fitted with a powerful EC motor which operates almost wear-free, is quiet and has smooth running and low vibrations – it also ensures the tool operates at optimum performance throughout the entire battery charge.
These magnets can be easily removed for fast cleaning, ensuring a long-service life.
It also has a LED display on the handle which provides you with information such as operating speed and an overheating warning.
If you use an AP 200 S or AP 300 S, there will be a reduction in performance. On a full charge with the AP 500 S, the TSA 300 has a working time of 20 minutes.
