When using the PolyCut mowing head, the plastic blades can also be changed quickly and easily by hand. Then, with just a “click”, the mowing head is securely remounted and the brushcutter is ready to start.
Advanced EasySpool
Thanks to the large orange disc handle, the mowing head can be comfortably wound without tools – either directly on the power tool, or after removal with the push of a button, in which case the mowing line can simply be wound on in your hand.

Tool Monitoring With Smart Connect
The power tool is compatible with the Smart Connector, meaning it can be integrated into the STIHL connected system. Once you have attached a Smart Connector to the power tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the power tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the STIHL connected App via Bluetooth. In addition to displaying the operational time, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance, ensuring that you do not overlook important upkeep and that your power tool is always in a ready-to-use condition.
Stihl Anti Vibration System
Vibrations can occur when you put your power tools through their paces, and these are particularly noticeable in the grip area. The STIHL FSA 110 R is a battery-powered brushcutter designed for tackling the toughest gardening and landscaping jobs you may face. Part of the AP System of battery tools, this brushcutter has low noise emissions, making it ideal for work in noise-sensitive areas such as schools, hospitals and quiet neighbourhoods.
The FSA 110 R is supplied with the AutoCut C 12-2 (with round mowing line 2.4 mm), a mowing head designed exclusively for brushcutters with the STIHL Rapid Click System. It can be fitted to the brushcutter without the need for any additional tools – simply click it in place and you are ready to go! Removing the head is simple too, simply click the side button to remove the mowing head – making rewinding it with mowing line even easier. You can also fit the FSA 110 R with the PolyCut 12-2 mowing head (sold separately), which also clicks in place without the need for tools.
Fitted with a loop handle that has a quick-mounting system, which means you can adjust the handle to your height for an ergonomic working position. This handle also makes mowing on slopes, around trees or on uneven terrains even easier. The FSA 110 R has a powerful brushless EC motor and speed-adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at 2 different speed settings. There is an ECO mode (level 1), for simple tasks such as trimming lawn edges, which results in lower energy consumption for extended battery life. And there is full speed mode (level 2), for mowing thicker grass, which will use more of the battery energy.
On a full charge with the AP 200 S battery, the FSA 110 R has a working time of 30 – 60 minutes when used with the AutoCut C 12-2 and 70 – 130 minutes when used with the PolyCut 12-2 mowing head.
