Features
Hydrostatic Drive Controls
The main feature of the BCS 780HY is the hydrostatic speed control that allows the operator to choose the precise speed they would like to travel forwards or backwards. There are no gears other than a high/low ratio, which means that the clutch is no longer required to be engaged when controlling the speed of the machine. A BCS revolution!
Implements for the BCS 780HY
Large choice of attachements for multi use ground work
Patented Hydraulic Clutch
The patented Powersafe clutch offers unrivalled levels of performance and reliability. The disc inside the clutch are forced together using hydraulic power to provide instant torque and efficient transfer of power. Importantly this also means that the wheels and working implement stop very quickly when the operator presence lever is released.
Top of the Range Engines
The BCS 780HY offers best in class options for both petrol and diesel engines. There is an electric start version for both engine types and our experience of using both engines over many years is that they both offer unmatched performance and reliability.
Speed Ranges
The continously variable drive of the BCS 780HY, in both forwards and reverse makes this machine extremely operator friendly and a joy to use.
Strong PTO Drive
The BCS range of two wheel tractors use a 3 pin claw system to transfer the power from the engine to the working implement. This system is extremely strong and ensures that the power unit has an extremely long lifetime
Product Information
Description
The BCS 780HY hydrostatic rotovator is currently the only machine in the range that has a hydrostatic drive. The ergonomic control lever is conveniently located on the handlebar ensuring maximum operator comfort during use, especially when the application involves many direction changes.
The BCS 780HY is also fitted with a locking differential and steering brakes for complete operator control, whilst large 5.00 x 10 wheels give you the traction you need whether you are on wet mud or icy pavements.
The range of implements available, coupled with the power of the BCS 780HY, will enable you to undertake a wide range of work all year round.
The hydrostatic drive of BCS 780HY offers the user the ability to control their ground speed precisely without the need to engage the clutch. This has several benefits for the operator, particularly when digging or cutting grass. Cultivating often requires a slow ground speed to enable to digging knives time to cut into the ground. The variable speed allows you to choose the best speed for the ground conditions in this case. When grass cutting, you are often travelling at different speeds depending on the density of vegetation and often you will be going into forward and reverse in tight spaces. The hydrostatic control in this application allows you to change speed and direction without engaging the clutch which means that the cutting head never slows down. For flail mowers and rough cut mowers this is a real benefit.
The attachment mechanism on the BCS 780HY comprises a three-pin claw that’s so strong, even the most hardened pro landscapers will be impressed.
The choice of whether to go petrol or diesel lies with you, with available engines from premium brands, Honda and Yanmar.
